Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Application

(1) These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders of admission tickets and event tickets placed via the online ticket shop of Schloss Drachenburg gGmbH.

(2) Tickets are sold exclusively to consumers within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB).

(3) Any deviating terms of the customer shall not apply.

3. Subject Matter of the Contract

(1) The subject of the contract is the sale of admission tickets and event tickets for Schloss Drachenburg and events held on its premises.

(2) Tickets are provided electronically (e.g., print-at-home ticket or mobile ticket with QR code), unless otherwise stated.

(3) The purchase of a ticket grants a one-time right of admission to the booked event or date.

4. Conclusion of Contract

(1) The presentation of tickets in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order.

(2) By clicking the button “Place order with obligation to pay” (or equivalent wording), you submit a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract.

(3) The contract is concluded upon receipt of the order confirmation sent by email.

(4) The contract text will be stored. The order details and these Terms and Conditions will be sent to you by email.

5. Prices and Payment

(1) The prices stated in the online shop at the time of ordering shall apply. All prices include statutory VAT.

(2) Available payment methods are displayed during the ordering process and may include:

(3) The purchase price is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.

6. Delivery of Tickets

(1) Tickets are delivered electronically by email.

(2) Delivery takes place immediately after successful payment.

(3) You are obliged to check the tickets upon receipt for correctness.

7. No Right of Withdrawal

There is no right of withdrawal.

Pursuant to Section 312g(2) No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the provision of services related to leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.

Since the tickets offered relate to date-specific leisure events, a right of withdrawal is excluded.

8. Cancellation, Return and Exchange

(1) Tickets cannot be returned or exchanged.

(2) In the event of cancellation or rescheduling of an event, statutory provisions shall apply.

(3) In the event of a cancellation by the organiser, the ticket price will be refunded. Further claims are excluded unless otherwise provided in Section 9.

9. Liability

(1) Schloss Drachenburg gGmbH shall be liable without limitation for damages resulting from injury to life, body or health as well as for damages caused by intent or gross negligence.

(2) In the event of a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), liability shall be limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.

(3) Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.

(4) Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

10. Admission Regulations

(1) Upon entering the premises, the applicable house rules of Schloss Drachenburg apply.

(2) Visitors may be denied entry or removed from the premises in case of violation of house rules or official safety regulations. In such case, no refund shall be granted.

11. Resale of Tickets

The commercial resale of tickets is prohibited.

12. Data Protection

13. Online Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR):

We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

14. Applicable Law

German law shall apply to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

If you are a consumer residing in another EU Member State, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
